Patient-Dr Dr my arm hurts when I do THIS (holds arm in the air)

Dr- Don't do THAT then! (holds arm in the air)

Seriously,if you are that concerned by the noise, send it back to the place you bought it from assuming its under warranty. Or just leave the anti reverse on/off,if its only for spodding its not worth worrying about is it.

it might sound strange but if you hold the reel horizontal it is quieter than when held vertical

possible that the anti reverse lever is not engaging/dis-engaging properly that could be the problem fella
