Everybody knows the score! 2 rods one license, if your fishing with 3 rods then you get 2.For the sake of an extra £25 is it worth looking over your shoulder for 12 months in the hope that your not going to get a visit from the EA.It serves the guy right for being a tight wad and thinking he can get away with it.

lol no matey, i was wondering when that was coming. For a start I dont fish teggs, and if I were fishing without a licence, i wouldnt do it on a water that has public access, besides with all my real tree, they wouldnt see me!

I once heard a rumour that the more daring of the Yateley anglers used to fish their 3rd "snide" rod underwater in the margin. Obviously there was no bite alarm so instead they used to watch for a stream of bubbles when their reel handles went into churn mode.

I not sure if the word "used to" is relevent, iv seen a few things down there up to about a month ago before I came back up here. Even saw a sneeky 4th rod on bank sticks, with slack line under neath a bedchair waiting for the line to go taut or bait runner to click.

There is also the old trick of clipping another rig on between the tip and butt eye.
It's surprising how a 7ft stalker disappears in the smallest patch of reeds though! lol

We spend so much money on our fishing gear,yet some people choose not to buy 2 rod licences

dont courts usually base fines on your income... they did when i last went a few yrs ago.. hammered me £450 quid for a section five... im glad too say ive seen the light ...and changed the errors of my ways... plus its too expensive to watch stoke now
