Default Korda underwater part 5

having seen this DVD recently it has made me wonder a few things.
1 its amazing that some big fish get caught at all given the amount of times they seem to get away with it
2 its amazing how BIG carp get BIG as they seemed to prefer eating small food items as opposed to bigger ones e.g.boilies, and they seemed to spit most of the stuff out that went in.It seems from this dvd that if a human ate like this it would take him 4hrs to eat a bowl of rice.
I know these are just observations from a unique situation and from only one water but nontheless I would still be interested to see what everyone else thought after seeing the dvd

Maybe if danny had decided to change some simple bits rather than try loads of 'top' rigs it might of come together a bit better.

Its all to do with introducing small baits, in this case
pellets, the fish often become preoccupied with the
smallest food source out there . . . happens frequently
with hemp, you get cleaned out without a take - many
times without realising it.

Yes i have certainly had that happen to me a few times when fishing over hemp, fish rolling, fizzing, liners the lot but no takes. But still you would think a Big carp would still eat a relatively small 14mm boilie wouldn't you
They are probably regulating their suction power to such an extent that its not powerful enough to suck a boilie in.

Was Steve Renyard fishing it then when they were on there making the dvd?
What did he have out then?

i am amazed also at how many big carp get caught each year!!!

but for me the dvd made me more into my caroing. when my dad first introduced me to fishing he said something which i will never forget: 'you only have to be lucky once, the fish has to be lucky everytime'

that keeps me going sometimes!!! lol
