Id say yes. The main reason I think so is if you look at the lower half of it's tail, more so on the left hand picture you can see two little 'slits', the top one bigger, the lower one smaller, and if you look at the right hand picture you can just about make them out again. If you look at the end of the centre of the tail, it's also got a 'dink' in it on both pic's. Also the general frame of the fish is very similar. Just noticed as well, it's got very long distinctive barbules (if that's how you spell it?!?) on both pictures. Defo the same fish bud.

Nice fish to mate.

that sort of gain could be possible if its been eating say 5kg of boilies, but it do's seem tobe a lot over 9 days

Maybe it lives on a diet of half bricks or even full bricks ....just another fishermans story akin to the top pool 50 pounder that was going about a while ago why people have to inflate the size of the fish they catch i will never know ....its like when i caught that 12 pound 11 oz minnow no one believed me.....lol

same fish look at the barbules, the tail also. but the weight gain is impossible, if a fish east a kg of food it doesn't put on a kg of weight, initially yes but then that weight is split into excrement, proteins fats energy used up etc
