Anybody else still get the childish inner feeling when you know you are of fishing the next day?

I am going doing afew nights on tuesday and i really cant wait to get out there

i get it all the time.. and the missus absolutely hates it for a good few days its all i talk about.. im busy getting things sorted etc...

i've been fishing since i could hold a rod and the desire and anticipation gets stronger with every session weather i catch or blank(more the latter) when thats gone and your just goin for the sake of it, it's time to take up golf. i'm out again this saturday night gonna be another cold one, can't wait

i just have that feeling naturally, but only becasue I am immature, and ill never grow up!

im nearly 40 and i still get that bit of a rush when i go fishing and if i plan a session of 2 days or more then i count the days down until i finally go !

yep, cant sleep the night before and the mrs really hates it! alsorts going through me head swims,tatics,bait etc Get to the lake and its stitched up all good swims gone and no were to go oh well thats fishing!!!

Yep I'll second that.
I think the feeling is similar to the feeling I used to get on christmas eve when a lil nipper, except it lasts for days!!!
