you`ve only just had your first double figure mirror and now your after a 25+,talk about trying to run before you can walk, looks like you`ve just about learnt to crawl.why don`t you learn how to catch singles and doubles consistently, and how to handle fish correctly on the bank.then when you do catch a bigger fish you`ve at least got some experience under your belt.too many people jump into carp fishing and want twenty`s or bigger from the word go does my head in.learn the ropes its just like when you first start work its the same principle your the apprentice learning your trade eventually you will gain enough knowledge to come out of your time and hold your own its the same in fishing.

spot on mate. its took me 5 years to start feeling confident in catching big fish (20+) took me over a year to catch doubles on a regular basis. the big fish will come with time, i remember when i first started wanting to catch 20+ fish, its not going to happen mate. and even if it did how would you cope with it on the bank. like mike said learn to small carp on the bank and learn how to catch them on a consistant basis and maybe a bigger fish might come your way.
it worked for me.

Fishing is probably an overstatement! Camping there, yes.
