Alright smokey the carp in the mere go to about 23lb and there is probably near 10 fish that are around the 20lb mark. average carp is probably about 11-14lb and there's quite a few upper doubles in there.

i live close to burton smokey and ive alway had 1 opinion on the place, rip off, in recent yrs apart from the cats not much over 24, maybe half a dozen 20's backed up with some high doubles. there was rumour chris tarrant was looking at buying it when it went up for sale a few years back not sure if that was bull**** or not? lovely looking water the mere, looks propper carpy but think its heyday passed well over a 15 year ago
