Sign displayed at a certain supermarket i went in recently (today) so our Cypry friends are certainly on someones menu







Have not tried any coarse fish but ive been told Perch & pike are good eating and Roach , rudd and bream are like cottonwool with needles .
A long time ago on the Norfolk broads the peasants used to make Gudgeon pie filled with loads of whole gudgeon eys ,heads guts the lot

There was an influx of indian immigrants years ago, what followed millions of indian takeaways, influx of chinese people millions of chinese takeaways, and with all these polish and other eastern european immigrants their native food is bound to follow, and the mr. sainsburys and mr morrisons of the world are going to be more than happy to sell carp etc.. as its going to make them good money.

Funny enough I was in morrisons earlier there were no carp but on the meat section I was surprised to see less things like ham on the bone etc.. and more polish sausage and there must of been 10 other types of polish meat.
Also near me there is a shop that has opened called... your local ethnic food store
