Default Summer Vs Winter Carp Fishing

Just wondering what people prefer, more fish get caught in summer but winter fishing is just as enjoyable for me and I do prefer winter fishing to summer fishing, there are various reasons why i enjoy a sip of navy rum on a cold evening before sleep or having the cooker on whilst sliping in the trusty sleeping bag, most nights are very quiet and the banks are often empty unlike the summer fishing where its hard to get a peg. The fishing is harder but the feeling youi get when you bank a winter fish is unexplainable.

What are your views

Winter or Summer?

Spring is my favorite time of year.. I love nothing more than waiting for it to come light enough so i can be able to do my overnighters.. even though this year i was doing them through the winter... But you cant beat thinking that its a completely new year and the fish have been held up all winter.. now its time for some grub.. I dont like July/August that much.. but will have to see how events unfold this year..

Chris

Got to agree there Chris, July isn't usually kind to me on the carp front.

October is my favourite month so guess Autumn is my preferred season
