Default Staffordshire Record

Reading the 'Chesh Record' thread, got me thinking
(a dangerous thing I know), what the Staffs record
might be??

I can think of two 39lb fish from different waters . . .

Has there been even been a Staffs 40?
Or will there ever be . . . and if so where from?

Over to you fellas . .

North a bit, just over the border into Shropshire, so they won’t figure in this. However, I have no idea what the Staffs record might be – and I take it we’re talking home-grown?

You've pinched that of another forum, plagiarism tut, tut . . .

So we've got the Wart from Patshull at 39lb 9oz and the long-departed
beast from Wedgwood Pools at 39lb+ caught by Tony Lowndes . . .

Any more up there?

. . . by the way for rumours, and the 'one upmanship' please start
up a new thread or go play with your tonka toys . .
