Try and get one with a 12v to 240v inverter built in. Its a god send, allowing you to use a 13amp plug. No use for microwave but Ok for tv dvd etc if you don't have a 12v connector

I recently saw one of these advertised that also could be used as a compresor with an output of 200lbs/sq inch.
Can anybody tell me if this would be sufficient to power air gun for boilie making?

Think you may have a problem with this. Compressor will pump ot the pressure but only in small volume. Most compressed air equip requires both volume and pressure hence most industrial compressors are attached to a cylinder to achieve the necessary volumes. If you are able check macro out - they do a powerpack with inverter for around £20 I think
