Welcome matey
As for Woodlands, the best advice is to avoid the place. At the weekend it will be rammed with chavs casting over everyones lines and getting p*****d. If you really want to fish it, try the peg in the corner nearest to the foot bridge. This should keep you away from the masses and give you some water to fish. Try one rod down the right hand margin with a Tiger nut and some pellet scattered around it. Put the other into open water, about 20 yards out, again with a Tiger Nut and scatter about 20 freebies around it. This has done well for me in the past (before I saw the light) but remember, Woodlands is very much a night water, don't expect too much action during the day. |
