Default Rules are Rules !! end of

right guys iam not normaly a day ticket angler but at the weekend my chosen water can have one or two people on it ...so this means weeks nite only and a catch up with a few good mate at the weekend.. last nite i went to a local day ticket water , wich is ballifed by a 2 mates of mine .. The water is about 1 1/2 acres in size ... there were 22 YES 22 anglers fishin ...

Now i own a bait boat but only use it on there wen its empty ...the rules state no boats allowed when there are a few anglers on { i agree} Anyways to the point ...2 pegs down there were 2 guys usin a boat after dark when they had been told not too! The mate who was ballifin at the time had only just started the job so is a lill shy still ... this youths boat ended up havin a wobbler and goin straight across into another anglers swimm an he had to go round and collect it !!NOT GOOD ..so me been me and an x balliff on a few other waters i decided to have a Polite word .....I dont think i need to tell you what response i was greated with .....F*CK OFF ...now the youth in question did stop after harsher words were exchanged but why do anglers feal the need to break rules an then argue about it when they do ...You know when your in the wrong so SHUT UP AN PUT UP !! but can anyone explain to me why they think they have the rite to do what they please at the exspense of other anglers . Now i have a boat myself and it was in my bivi { dont want it nicked out my car } along with 3 other anglers but no of us felt the need to break the rules.......i can understand people wantin to use there boat but not when your not allowed ...

so to sum up ...If rules are there dont break them ,,, you are no exception !! the angler in question does read this site an iam sure you know who your are so yes this is me havin a bitch an tellin you straight DONT !!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU
you give people who use bait boats a bad name !!!!!!

Smokey

rather than having a rule that states that you cannot use boats if there are a few anglers on wouldn't it be easier to just say no boats are allowed at any time? And I'm not having a pop or anything (each to their own and all that)but is it really nescessary to use a boat on a water that is only 1 1/2 acres in size?

Wow, 22 anglers on 1 1/2 acres
I feel crowded when there is 4 fishing on 5 acres!!!!
Afraid I would have turned around and gone elsewhere.
Keith
ps I have a 4ft pond, open to 4 anglers only, £15.00 for 24hrs and bacon buttie included in morning
Syndicate places available and very private

Angry

the " fishermen " that break the rules like that need to get off their pedestal and take a course in common courtesy ,
i would think almost every 1 has fished on a water where there have been ignorant pigs like that fishing
i hate people like that ,they need to learn some manners before they even attempt to go fishing !

Totally agree here with Dave.

Set an example and dont use a bait boat yourself at any time!!!

A guy at my local does this and it irritates me so much that one time I had a quiet "word" with him, lets just say he does'nt break rules when he's see's fit anymore

Personally if your not a bailiff and the boat does'nt affect your swim or your fishing i would of minded my own buisness. It's up to the baliffs to sort that type of situation out. But thats just me tend to keep to myself when fishing.

Lowey.

to say that 22 ppl on such a small venue i think is stupid then to use a bait boat how far can someone cast without cross lines i think thats rather bad angling the said angler should be able to throw the bait in with that many people on such a small lake im sure he could have used other means to get the bait out ie... pva bag pva sock or even a catapult but rules are rules and shouldnt be broke under any circumstances so if there are rules on the water that you are fishing think of the other anglers and most of all the fish
