no it's not a over reaction!, it's a small intimate litttle estate lake,'well it was!' and with all the sh@itting and people leaving rubbish, the place will start looking like a day ticket water if we're not carefull!

if that's the kind of gaff you like to fish mate, you're welcome to it, along with the nuggets who have no respect for there surroundings

if all anglers were of the type that fished top pool then the fishing world would be a much better place.

Its simple really, respect and consideration for other anglers and the environment! Its thoughtless actions like these that could loose the privalige of fishing top pool and main for others!

Bet is correct. Top Pool is an estate lake used by all walks of life. We have to repect the land/owners property. We will soon lose the rights to fish if the aera is allowed to run down. The main lakes already have a ban on stoves, night fishing bivi's etc - we don't need the same on TP. Who ever you are please clean up your act, we do not need a witch hunt, but this behaviour is unacceptable and needs to be stopped

Ok i see where your coming from .................yes its only grass and it will grow back.................

but how would you like to turn up at your regular haunt and find the fisheries manager had shut it Due to inconsiderable *******s who cant even have the single braincell in there head working enough to have respect for a venue

How difficult is it to leave the kettle or pan on the stove to cool ? I spend every availiable moment on top pool and the place is very intimate.................if the club where to shut it due to this incident or any other how ****ed off do you think i would be ? Let alone the rest of the regular crew !....

Not only had the grass been burnt, but a branch had been snapped on one of the alders by somebody climbing.............fair enough accidents happen.............im a big guy and id be lying if i said i hadnt broken branches in the past when climbing....... but why the ****

should i have had to go and pick up the remnants of their ****ing rubbish as well

let alone all the ****ing ciggy buts !

i dont smoke so why should i ****ing pick em up

although the person who has done this is a bit of a tool when i seen the title of the thread top pool vandals i was expecting a lot worse.
