Default Rig question.

You'll have to bear with me on this, but here goes.

I've been tying some hook links up (in work), but I've noticed that on the hook pattern I'm using the eye bends down slightly toward the hook point.

So, when the link is finished, the line doesn't come away in a straight line, but an an angle... am I being totally thick?

Doesn't look quite right to me, but it may straighten up a bit with a bait on the hair. BTW it's using a knotless knot.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I'm not admitting anything Just wanted some advice, that's all...

I've told you, it's not carp that I'm after, it's just that some of the rigs I need are pinched from the higher echelon of fishing.
