Default pursuing your goal fish.

hers one lads how long have you spent pursuing a certain fish be it days weeks or years. there must be some serious carp anglers out there. i am more of a pleasure carp angler , the most I've done is 7 days on one water but not after a particular fish, just any size.

Total time on lake for a target fish?

13 and a half minutes. 'The Obsession' 31lb. caught, weighed, pics and returned.

'Peter Perfect' as a floater caught pb. 18 minutes, took ten minutes to get to the swim.

Mr A.... bait hits water, 11 minutes.

Bit of a time bandit i know

err! i don't remember ever having the 'Long Common' as a target fish, not in realistic terms. One of those that would have been nice at the time you caught it, but i only ever came close once.
'The Mirror Image' and 'Shoulders' came along as consolation prizes... i'm not bitter though

How many times did you catch 'the Obsession' then? not noticed a post on how long you camped in the layby

Yeah it was a wet and windy day that Platty remarked.... don't fancy where Carpet is fishing
A meritous capture of one the fishy legends that ooze prestige(when everyone played by the rules). Leaving it there or i will be stacking up soap boxes.

Went on there for one of the big commons and caught one that hadn't been out for two years, mind blowing afternoons that are etched in my mind forever.
respect.

Joined a water last year and had the biggest fish in there at the time out on my first session, was a fish I wanted to catch at some point but for me I can't say it was a target fish as I wasn't fishing for this particular fish at the time. Being there is enough, catching is a bonus

Respect to guys that put the time and effort in to catch one particular fish and it must be quite a buzz at the time, but for me life's too short to make the sort of sacrifices that some people are prepared to make.
