etang de la botte

Just wondered if anyone has fished etang de la botte, im trying to sort my trip out for next and found this place at 35 acre and a max of 12 anglers

i went last year and to be honest i wouldnt go back! the average size of fish was 15lb

the odd 30lb came out , wouldnt bother.

ive fished it for ten years, the locals fish on the oppersite site of the lake from the entrance. there are alot of fish in there to mid forties, but you can go 3 days without a sniff and then run city. the average weight is low twenty. i would advice fishing near the monument rd side twenty yards of the island piont. zigs and maze. the lake owner makes a cracking wine, that takes your breath away.

ive been twice when tag tours run trips there had plenty fish under20lb and only managed 1 thirty
