Hi Danny

You really need the correct spelling for the lake and the region in France. Get that and I am sure there will be people on here who know of it or easy enough to get the info from google.

You need to be trying somethign different to the norm as they will have seen most things by August

they have a reputation for lovin hemp on the water ....

my advice is to take a bait that you use in the uk and that you know works well for you.

aweek away prob aint the time to start off with a new bait.

Good advice there mate I fished a Lake that backs onto it in May and I was speaking to a few of the lads on there over the fence and they def like Hemp and I would be tempted to take it raw and boil it up on the bank using the lake water Rather than doing it at home or buying ready prepared as it could give you a bit of an edge.

Re Bait I would stick to what your happy with.

The place gets a lot of pressure and I think the Carp have wised up now so I would approach it the same way as I would an Ultra Hard Water over here ie Fine tune rigs etc etc. Anyway good luck and I am over that away again in August so may stick my head round!
