Default Millstone Pool catch reports 2008

The new season opened this week, 5 to 12 April, with 4 anglers on the lake.
Heavy rain and night time temperatures down to minus 8 made for tough fishing conditions.
12 fish were landed with a fifty, 7 forties, 2 thirties and 2 twenties.
Jon Taylor fished swim 11 and did really well to take 7 fish with a pb of 54.4lbs, forties of 41lbs, 48lbs and 46.8lbs plus 2 thirties to 38.9lbs.
Johnny Mings took 4 fish with 3 forties including a pb mirror of 48.4lbs and a pb common of 43lbs. He began in swim 8 but moved and took the 3 forties from swim 12. Good angling.
Adrian Eve only had 1 fish but at 44.10lbs this was his pb also.
Edd Bale in swim 10 was the unlucky anglers to blank this week despite fishing hard all week.
Various Nash bait boilies fished with pellet working for the carpers from Essex.
