The following week and 44 fish with 10 forties came out. Better weather conditions brought the fish on the feed and plenty of bait had them feeding steady all week.
Andy and Sharon Bladon were only on the lake for 3 days but took 13 fish from swim 1. This included 3 forties of 41.12lbs, 42lbs and 44.12lbs, the best one falling to Sharon. The pair also had 5 thirties to 38lbs. Mark and Sue Shilham fished swim 4 to bank 18 fish with 3 forties of 41.4lbs, 41.12lbs and a 41.8lbs common. They also managed 6 thirties to 38.12lbs. Richard Turner over in swim 11 managed 13 fish with 4 forties of 40.7lbs, 42.4lbs, 44lbs and 46.2lbs. He also caught 4 thirties to 38.12lbs. Boilies taking all the fish this week. |

16 to 23 August produced 25 fish with a fifty, 4 forties and 12 thirties.
Nev Whitehouse banked the most fish for the week with 11 carp. His top 2 fish were a 44.6lbs mirror and a 41lbs common. Nev fished swim 4. Swim 1 gave up 3 fish to Ray Pugh. They were mirrors of 28 and 38lbs and a common of 24lbs. Nick Bull also took 3 fish from his peg 3 position. They weighed in at 35.12lbs, 36.4lbs and 38.8lbs. Ian Ockwell in swim 11 had the week’s biggest fish at 58.4lbs along with other fish of 40.4lbs and 29.12lbs. Bob Harper took 5 fish to 42.8lbs from swim 12. Boilies over pellet and corn working best this week. |

The following week and 16 fish were landed. There were 6 forties and 7 thirties banked.
Neil Wilson had 6 fish of 31, 32, 35, 38, 42.6lbs common and a 46.12 taken on a float in the bottom bay. Ali Gilmour took fish of 34.2, 37.4 common, 40.10 and 42.6lbs. Kev Reid had 3 fish of 48lbs, 44.14 and 22.10lbs. Alvin Easton in swim 4 also took 3 fish at 27.8, 23.8 and 37.8lbs. Boilies taking the majority of fish. |

33 fish were banked the this week with 2 fifties, 6 forties and 13 thirties.
Chris Fowke in swim 4 banked 14 with a 56.8lbs mirror and 50.1lbs common being his biggest. He also managed 3 forties of 43, 47 and 48.12lbs. The 48.12 was stalked in the bottom bay and put his 2lb test curve rod and cardinal 55 reel to the test. Jack O in swim 10 had 8 fish with 5 thirties to 39.2lbs and a pb mirror of 46.10lbs. Brian Williams in swim 11 took 11 fish with forties of 48.8lbs and 41.2lbs. He also landed 3 thirties to 39.10lbs. Boilies over pellet working for the lads. |

A cracking week this past 7 days as 47 fish were banked with 3 fifties, 13 forties and 13 thirties to 3 anglers.
Bob Bellamy fished swims 4 and 1 to take 22 fish with 4 lost. His catch included 1 fifty at 50.8lbs, 8 forties to 48lbs and 7 thirties to 38.8lbs. Corn fished in the margins and close range scoring for Bob. Mark Whitworth in swim 11 took 13 fish with 3 thirties to 38lbs and a mirror of 41lbs. Nashbait working best for Mark. Shaun Hickton in swim 10 got amongst the better fish. His 12 fish catch included a 56lbs mirror, a 51.8lbs common and forties of 49.8lbs, 48.4lbs, 44.8lbs and a 41.12lbs common. He also managed 3 thirties to 38.4lbs. Once again Nashbait boilies working best. |

13 to 20 September produced 36 fish made up with 3 fifties, 7 forties and 18 thirties.
Mick Church in swim 11 took 11 fish with a pb of 57.13lbs, a forty of 45.7lbs and 7 thirties including commons to 39.10lbs and mirrors to 38.13lbs. Rich McDonagh fished alongside Mick and landed 7 fish with 4 forties to 46.2lbs and a couple of thirties to 38.2lbs. Mark Baker in swim 1 caught 8 fish with 2 forties to 49.8lbs and 5 thirties to 38.9lbs. Glynn (no surname) in swim 3 had 4 fish including a pb of 57lbs. Martin (no surname) fished swim 4 for 6 fish to 58lbs. Nutrabaits boilies taking the majority of the fish. |

Some more quality carp were taken the following week with 26 fish banked including 3 fifties, 6 forties and 15 thirties.
Nigel Ellam started in swim 7 but then moved to swim 1 where he took 10 fish with a lake record common of 56lbs and forties of 49.12lbs, 49.10lbs and 47.6lbs. He also had 6 thirties to 39lbs. Miles Carter in swim 8 caught fish of 34, 37 and 40lbs. Carl Perfit had 4 fish to 35.8lbs. Alan Robinson in swim 11 took 6 fish with 2 of them fifties at 58.2lbs and 51.8lbs. Pete Samme fished swim 12 for fish of 45.6lbs, 45lbs and 36lbs. Various boilies working this week. |

A real mega week for 3 of our anglers on the lake during this past week.
Bob and Jackie Young along with Trevor Anthony banked 66 fish with 2 fifties, 24 forties (12 over 45lbs) and 23 thirties. The other two anglers on the lake, Paul and Richard Merry only managed a 41.4lbs fish between them all week. I can’t really work out why! Anyway it was Trevor who fished swims 1 and then 8 who took the most fish with 26. He had a 52.8lbs common along with 10 forties including mirrors to 48.12lbs, commons to 42.8lbs and a lake record grass of 42lbs. Bob Young who fished swim 11 banked 18 fish with 9 forties including mirrors to 48.2lbs and commons to 43.8lbs. Bobs wife Jackie shared swim 11 to take 22 fish with a 55.12lbs mirror and 5 forties to 49.8lbs. A mix of boilies, pellets and sweetcorn scoring heavily for the trio. |

The following week was unsurprisingly slow with 5 fish landed by 4 anglers. However a new lake record of 61.8lbs was landed.
Paul Kempthorne in swim 1 was the lucky angler to land the lakes first sixty pounder. He also took a 31 and a 41. Ian Kempster had a 42lbs mirror and Steve Judge a 38lb mirror. Les Skidmore in swim 10 blanked. Boilies and corn used by the anglers. |

Another slow week followed with 8 fish to the 4 anglers on the lake.
Kev Simmons took 5 twenties from swim 1. Rich Smith had a 41.6lbs mirror from swim 12. Pat Issacs took a twenty and a 44.12lbs from swim 11 and Kev Elliot blanked in swim 2. Maggots used by the anglers this week. |

18 to 25 October produced some quality fish. In all 14 fish were caught with 2 fifties, 7 forties and 3 thirties.
Dave Billet in swim 1 banked fish of 57.10, 47.12, 46.2, 42.8 and 23.6lbs. Daves wife Barbera in swim 2 had fish of 40.12lbs and 33.8lbs while their son Nick down in swim 4 landed fish of 52.12 (common), 43.12, 38.10, 30 and 25lbs. Ernie Devon had a 47.4lbs and his son Mat had a 46.10lbs. Heavy, regular baiting with Daves home made boilies bringing the results. |
