In to the opening week of June, and 4 anglers from Aylesbury had a great hit of big carp. They landed 44 fish with 3 fifties, 16 forties and 14 thirties. Mild and more settled weather got the bigger fish feeding. Pb’s all round!
Top rod for the week, with an awesome catch of carp from swim 11 on single and double maggot fished in bags, was Gav Neal. He managed 25 fish with 2 fifties to 51.8lbs, 12 forties to 49.15lbs and 6 thirties. His maggot approach really had the fish bubbling and ripping up the margins of his swim. Terry Newman fished swims 10 and 2 to take 8 fish with 2 forties to 46lbs and 4 thirties to 39lbs. Corn doing the business. Punos Cunos in swim 4 had 4 fish with a twenty, a thirty, a 47.8lbs pb mirror and a pb common of 52.12lbs. Paul Nevan banked 7 fish from swim 7 with a 45lbs mirror and 3 thirties to 37lbs, corn once again taking the lions share. Well done to these fellas on a great weeks fishing. |
