Hello everybody!!
Just this second got back from a session on Vallee lake. Me and two others went for the week, i wont bore you with the details, but to say everything went against us would be an understatement.
As im sure you are all aware of the conditions that hit the coast Monday... the morning we were set to sail!! Anyway, after many a cancellation, we arrived at the lake Monday tea time, having paid over the odds to get the euro tunnel.
The weather for the first 2 nights was immense, over 60 mph winds constantly, day and night... i litterally couldnt get the rods in the first night, it was a case of sit in the bivvy and hold on. About 5 lads bivvys got wrecked and left us with a lake almost to ourselfs for the last night
Anyway, we managed to catch a few foreign lumps. I managed fish of 36lb, 40lb and 42lb. Bloo had a 32 and my other freind Adam had 2 22lb's, 25lb and 38lb.
Despite the hurrific weather, i was still happy with the brace of 40's

I know its a completely different ball game over their but fish of that size are incredibley impressive on the bank... im still buzzing now
Anyway, back to the hard and gritty NorthWest
Tight lines all
Chris
(In order 42lb, 36lb and 40lb)
