Default Specialist Tackle St. Lawrence Carp Tournament

Me and my mate came in 7th place in this tournament last week, and are very happy with that... we had just under 900 lbs of carp for a 72 hour match!

Here's a few pics...

If you're talking about the one on the right mate.... they call that a 'muddler', basically an irregularly scaled common..... even cooler are the ones that are common on one side and mirror on the other.... totally wicked fish!! My mate had one that went just over 30!! My biggest of the trip was 29 lb 9 oz....

I was pegged 3 places down from Tim Paisley, and it was fun just watching him... worked like mad, spodding constantly... He's not as young as he used to be, but for a 70 year old fishing 72 hours non-stop, you just have to respect the guy.... That's twice he's beat me now.... hopefully there won't be a third time for him!
