Default Cherpont May 2009

A few pictures from my recent trip to Cherpont:

48lb 8oz

44lb 12oz

39lb

38lb 6oz

35lb 4oz

I fished a swim Called SOS, on the far bank (there was only 9 on the lake for the week so me and a mate had the whole far bank to ourselves all week!).

Ive already taken advantage of the cheap second week offer and booked on for September 4th. If anyone is going out there this year good luck & Tight Lines to you all!!

Cheers

Kezzo

Alreet Kez lad, thought you had dropped of the face of the earth mate

Thought I new the look of that swim pal once again you have come up with the goods pal

Quality looking fish bud, very very well done mate

How are things out at the lake, are John and Mick still there pal - Its the first time in ages that I have not booked this year. After all the stories we heard last year about the lake being sold and the 2 boys not sure if they would be there I decided to give it a rest for a year or so and try else where. This is not to say I wont be going back because as you know I love the place

Take care pal and dont leave it so long again

Alright there Slim and fellow monkeys, yeah I've not had much time these past 6 months (New Job) so I've not been on the forum.

Fishing at Cherpont has changed a lot over the last 12 months, the biggest change has been the fact that they can now be caught from all ranges (no more trying to cast to the horizon!) & Trigga no longer rules the roost -(although I tried all sorts of 'alternatives' but still had all my fish on Trigga) people were catching on all things like NRG to Quest Baits fruity trifle!

It also has helped that most weeks are now only around 75% full, more space to move around and keep mobile.

The one consistant thing though was Mick n John - as good (if not better)than ever. Johns cooking was superb, and more than a few beers were shared with Mick on the last night while he was Coypu patrol!! I know there are lot of good lakes out there and I was like you Slim when thinking about a new place to try, but I just cant seem to say no to Cherpont.....I had thought about somewhere like Maison, but it seems like that place has gone pear-shaped in the last couple of years.

I'm back to Cherpont on September 4th on the cheap deal so I'll keep you all informed.

Cheers

Kezzo
