Default Eden's Lakes Catch Report 2008

Hi All,

We had a couple of anglers here who suggested this forum & suggested that I did a catch report. So here I am & the forum looks good. I thought I would just do the some of last month's & up to June catch report & would continue from there if that is ok.

This weeks catch results for the 3rd of May to 10th May.

This week started of with scorching weather and by the wednesday the carp were in full swing in spawning.
But this did not deter them from feeding either and some good fish were caught, & all 4 anglers beat or smashed there pb's.

The Results:

51lb's (Peaches making an appearance again)
45lb 2oz, 42lb
31lb, 31lb, 32lb, 31lb, 36lb 4oz, 35lb 3oz, 35lb 3oz, 35lb 3oz, 36lb 4oz, 37lb 5oz, 33lb 6oz, 37lb 5oz,

And 16 Carp under 20lb.

catch results for the 10th of May to 17th May.

This was the week a 13 year old lad will never forget. Besides the monsoon weather with an day or two of sunny weather, this is the week he obliterated his PB with a 52lb mirror & some cracking backup fish in the 40's & 30's.

And 3 carp under 20lb

catch results for the 24th of May to 31st May

We had to old gents who only fished days on the North Lake (waiting for pictures to be emailed) & 1 Dutch lad who fished the Jolly Pad Lake.
But by the Wednesday the carp had started to spawn again.

The results were.

42lb 10oz
30lb,30lb, 30lb 4oz, 31lb, 32lb, 32lb 9oz, 33lb 8oz, 33lb 10oz, 34lb, 38lb 6oz, 39lb 8oz
20lb, 23lb 13oz, 25lb 6oz, 26lb 12oz, 29lb 12oz
and 5 carp under 20lbs

Ooops been a bit busy so here is the latest report for June.

The Weather has been all over the place but in the second week of June it stabalised and we had a good few days of sunshine which then got the carp into spawning mode again. But we still had a few carp out while they were spawning.

Hi Adam.
Just a quick recommendation for Eden Lakes.
Fished from the 7th to 14th June on Jolly Pads lake.
Weather was crazy (hailstones in June ??? )
Fish were spawning, managed just two fish....but what fish! Absolutely mint condition (one of them still had the price tag on!)
If you ever visit this place, leave your bite alarms at home!It is so quiet, the sound of the line coming out of the line clip is deafening.
A must for peace, quietness and from Adam and Lisa, pure friendliness.
