Talking Lac Serenity

Hi guys

Just got back from a great week at Lac Serenity in France! 7 anglers and a total of over 1200lb of fish on the bank. Weather was awful, rained virtually every day but we did have some nice afternoons of sunshine and some clear evenings! Tony and Ali were excellent hosts, couldn't do enough for you! To be honest I'm sure we must owe Tony some cash for all the hours of tuition he gave to the less experienced anglers in our party, he even jumped in the boat a few times as well to try and free snagged fish!

Anyway, most of my fish fell to snowman rigs but with the boilies chopped down slightly or just single bottom baits. Found that the above fished over loose fed and crushed boilies tight to the pads worked best for me although I did lose 5 good fish because of the snags.

I had 15 carp in total, 12 of them between 22 and 29.5lb and 4 cats to 30lb. Biggest fish caught was a nice common from G at 38lb but there were 5 other 30's banked............just a shame they eluded me!!! Everyone there broke their PB carp by miles except myself.

Anyway, hope you like the pictures!!!

My home for the week - Bivvy locations are excellent by the way!!!!

Gaz's big 38lber - All the fish were in great condition!

Arty shot!!!

Near 30lb mirror - Well worth getting a soaking for!!!

The rigs that did the damage

Theres only one grassy in there too. Paul with the 19lber!

Big G with another top fish at 32lb

Me with a 24

Nice shot of the lake from my peg (7)

Me (looking dazed!!!) with half tail at 27lb (I think??)

Me with a common (29lb I think?)

Me with that common again (29lb I think?)

29lb 8oz Mirror (so close to the 30 mark!!!)

Above fish again

Another mid 20 common

Great week!!!!!
