Hi Kirky,

Well, we dealt briefly with the venue a few years back and it turned into a real nightmare for us.
It is a very deep lake 20+ feet in the middle and virtually featureless. It looks terrible situated in an industrial area of Belgium. It has rubbish all round it and no facilities to speak of other than a couple of toilet cubicles that are never cleaned and stink.... At the time it was still being worked and you could only fish three banks. The margins were full of metal, hardcore and rubbish. Some of the corners looked like a landfill site.
The owner crams anglers in and has no limit on the numbers he sticks on there. We once booked 9 guys on only to find he had kept no swims for them.
Everyone fishes at max range with ********* and tons of pellet. Only good thing I can think to say it it has some very big carp. But then you can go to hundreds of pleasant beautiful sites with good fish.
Regards
Gareth

Yeah I would agree with all the above mate its got Big Cats and Sturgeon and the Carp go to 30 kilos plus so some very big fish to be had. The largest that came out in 2007 was a 35.5 kilo Common. You can go direct just turn up and its about 160 Euros for the week. You can drive to and park in nearly all the swims. But better to book in advance as it gets rammed and they just pack em in. Its about 2 hrs from Calais 110 miles mainly on the A16, A25 and A1.

Anyway mate good luck wherever you end up.

Like Gareth said there are far nicer waters to go at.
