Sweet!! Never been early season. Went in May last year, struggled a bit cos the fish were spawning, but still nice just to be there eh.

You'll have to let us know how you get on

Kezzo

I've been thinking about going over there, not sure where to go yet though as i'll be needing full family accomodation with facilities for young kids, or maybe a camp site thats near a good carping lake might be a cheaper option, if anyone knows of anything like that please send me any info !? and the more south the better, I want the hot weather lol..

I've also been told that carping in france can ruin you ! as you get into some right monsters over there and it spoils the fishing for you here upon your return as it seems like childs play in comparison lol....how do you people feel about this ?

Evening TC, check out the Euro camp sites.A lot off these camp sites have fishing lakes on there premises. Trust me pall the tents are no Argos Jobie's and contain cooker, fridges etc and there's plenty to do for the Family.

You have to remember that when you catch carp abroad, they are bonus fish and in no way count as English fish!!!!

If I was to catch 1 large English fish IE a personal best, it would mean more to me than say a French 40!!!

Just go on a holiday and enjoy yourself, thats what it is all about= enjoyment

Cheers Slim.

Thanks for that slim, i have had a bit of a gander at this Angling International - Fishing Holidays in America, Spain, France, Romania, Morroco is it any good ? they seem to offer full family accomodation for 400 quid a week on a proper camp site so i reckon two weeks for 800 quid for a family of four should be ok. is that fair cheap do you reckon ?

When you consider that most people will be paying the best part off £500 for a weeks fishing in France it sounds quite good to me!!

Can't comment on Angling International as i have never used them but I am sure that someone one the forum will have done.

Take your time and have a look around on the Internet and listen to people who have been and done it, they will help you out pall.

Cheers slim
