Hi guys, just wondering if any off you have done a French trip on your own?
The reason i ask you is that i have just got a last minute booking to Cherpont on the 18th April
This is not so much a problem as i have been to Cherpoint many times and know the routine inside out.Might be a tad boring traveling down south on my own but I'm sure i will survive.

Allreet CJ, looking forward to it pall. Fished this week a couple off times at Cherpoint and it has always produced. I was dead surprised to get on as April is booked up in advance for 2 years,think i got a cancellation

i'm only driving to herts then change over into mini bus are you driving all the way to the lake ?

No mate,i have to drive to Falkstone then get on a coach to the lake. Still a bit of a trek pall,just have to have a few good Cd's with me

think were still doing calais but was talking of using the tunnel ?

the coach goes through the tunnel,its superb pall,if any one is going over to France then thats the only way to go if you can afford it. Less hassle and you over there in about 40 Min's.

its not bad on ferry tho gives you time to stretch your gullet with a few uri gellers and have a bit of tucker lol

Yeah I know what you mean bud,its OK as long as your not going Dover to Calais.It does my head in that short trip, I like the ferry crossings that take a few hours down the coast,thus cutting driving time down.
