Seen a few biguns, the record stands at 53lb as far as I know but there are as always rumours of bigger. The fishing here is good but most of the waters are huge by english standards and largely unfished .there are over 90 dams in Portugal and most of them hold Carp.

Booth mate it´s hard to say, depends how and where your fishing but were I fish it´s around 10lb.But these carp go like stink. But there are a few lads I know that invest more time and are pulling out 30´s.You have to do the prebaiting to catch the bigger fish. But remember these fish have probably never seen a hook.
