With a little more driving mate, try Le Moulin De Mee.

PM oldfellah on the site, he's extremely helpful. I've read plenty of very good things about his setup on other forums, and there are plenty of fish to be caught.

Read his report below, as I said, plenty of fish to be caught.

Last fling at Le Moulin du Mée

I'm booked on for late next year.

Hi Jason, I noticed that Mutley mentioned my fishery so I thought I would just say Hello. If you are at all interested then just pm or email me and I will answer all your questions promptly and honestly. We have almost 100% rebooking rate and do not advertise and our success is down to working hard to ensure our anglers have a great time. A little further than you would like but a very easy drive mainly on empty motorways.
Tight lines, Jim (oldfellah) Le Moulin du Mee (Home.jpg).

maison is a excellent venue but very swimmy.there are four lakes on site that all have 50lb plus fish in them.the food and the venue is 5 star, but the fishing is anything but a runs water.also there is an 8 hours coach journey.
you will not be disapointed with this place, just the fishing can be tough. it felt like being in someones huge back garden.all i can say is this is a must venue for all anglers travelling abroad but keep your fingers crossed for the swims draw on the sat morning on arrival.ill def go back eventhough i blanked!!
also worth looking at is croix blance.again big fish,4 hours coach travel and good food.
cheers,mike.

Maison is by far the best complex in France that i've fished, and i have fished plenty of different venues. The draw isnt too bad, just make sure you do plenty of research into the lakes and swims before you go. The fishing can be challenging at times, but the carp are very catchable at times.
I can also recommend La Horre, Jonchery and Brocard. Another one worth looking at is The sanctuary Fishery. Maison and The Sanctuary are a bit further than you were looking to travel, but they are more than worth the little bit of extra travelling.

Hope that helps mate.

Iain.
