Default Foreign Social

This is all just pie in the sky at the moment.

Myself and fireplace (a Dutch Monkey) are looking to book on Vaumigny around May next year, Wooly may possibly be interested in this, as it is something he has suggested several times before on here, so I thought I would make a thread about it properly.

Question is, would any Monkey's be interested in a week long social on a very good water? As I say, it's all academic at the moment, but we can get a rough idea if anyone would "possibly" be interested.

Based on 2 sharing a car:

Fishing - £140 each
Ferry - £30 each
Fuel -£80 each
Bait - £100 approx (we used 25 kilos of Euro bolies each)

Then it comes down to adding people on the insurance if you share driving, and European breakdown cover. These two don't come to that much.

You're looking at a rough figure of £400 all in.

I think Frank does a special rate if you pre book the whole lake, I'll E mail him and see what it is.
If you go with a particle bait approach you can fish it for about £325 all in for the week, perhaps less if booking as a group.
