im off to thailand for 5 weeks in jan just wanted to know if any1 has fished out there and could give me a few ideas on venues to go to ????

Five weeks, hmmm, you might not get round to the fishing! I've been here for near on twelve months and still not managed to get a session in
Where about's are you going? I'm defo going to do a bit soon, I'll let you know how I get on. There are a couple of decent waters in Bangkok with the real monsters in, can't remember the names offhand, got em written down somewhere. I'll stick em up when I find them.
I'll still be here in Jan if you want to hook up for a few beers of a fishing sesh.

You may want to check out Stuart Gillham's place - 'gillhamsfishingresorts' - it's near Krabi, Southern Thailand.

Arapaima to 150kg, Mekong Catfish to 120kg, Siamese Carp 70kg plus all sorts of other wierd looking creatures

Speak to Rob Maylin @ Big Carp - he's been out there a few times, sure he'll point you in the right direction.

palm tree lagoon is a top venue, i think its siam fishing tours out in thailand
they have a few venues worth a look at

im getting in to bangkok on the 13th of jan goin to spend a few days there then we are flying up to chang mai to fish dream lakes thailand for 3 days so if your still around then let me know and for sure we could have a few beers and do a spot of fishing
