going france next year sometime for the first time lol,any recommendations on where to go? thought about dreamlakes? or has anybody fished les graviers?

Graviers isn't really a place I'd recommend for a "France Virgin" to pop his cherry m8.....
DreamLakes much more suitable for that...Graviers in a few years when you are more experienced on French venues...

Once you've done one of the comercial fisheries in France why don't you realy take the plunge and do some proper French carping. Tackle one of the 'wild' French lakes or rivers. Most anglers are reluctant to take a chance
I'm sure you'd love it.

There are a lot better venues out there than Dreamlakes mate....Graviers, Croix Blanche, Cherpont, Redmill, Valee, Village De Peche etc etc Have a good luck around to see whats out there.

lol...I wish...But there are still some good value for money venues out there if you look around. I know a Water thats 2 Hours from Calais 35 Acres. Drive to your Swim. Free Showers. 16 Swims. Fish to 61 Common and Mirrors to 71lb. Went this year and biggest was 46lb Common.....And the price..£110 for a week.

What amount of bait would you take to a venue like that . What sort of plater would you lay out for a 71lb carp ??lol.
