Default Hotel with secure parking in or very near Dover

As the topic says, we are sailing at 7am. Ideally we want to drive down the night before and get a nights kip..

Why waste more money on a hotel for a few hours sleep?? Just set off at 11-12, have a nice leisurely drive to dover and hop on the ferry looking forward to a full breakfast.
Theres not a place in france that cant be reached within a day with the aid of red bull....
Stop being such a wuss!!

I'm aware of what's involved with a drive to France thanks, the drive to Millstone was a grueller last year.

I like the idea of setting off down to Dover around midday, having a meal down there, getting some sleep and getting up at 5:30 and nice and refreshed.

I usually dont stop at Dover just get straight on the Ferry but if you do stay over make sure that its 100% Secure, cameras, guarded etc as last year my mates stayed for the night in a Hotel got up in the morning everything looked the same as the night before got on the Ferry arrived at the lake opened the Roof Box to find all the Rods , Reels and Landing nets were gone! So you really need to make sure the place is Locked down as the local scrotes know exactly what angers have in Roof Boxes.
