Default Manchester Carp Night verdict?

BIG THUMBS UP FROM ME !!!

what a corking night, met loads of monkeys off here, rainey, tartancarper, hursty, callum and a few others.. twas a pleaser..

some big name boys there.. John Macallister, Frank Warwick, Ian MacMillan, Gaz Farnham and Ali Hamidi on the Korda stand.. which incidentally was absolutely superb.. tank tests, rig tying, knot tying, learnt aheck of a lot from them boys... some of the talks were quality, Jamie Clossicks talk was truly amazing.. Mark Holmes from Total Carp was inspiring.. his words of wisdom on bait was soomething i had never heard of before.. ROCK SALT in baits..awesome!! Geoff Moores was superb... i didnt get to see Frank Warwicks talk.. although i know there is going to be some talk on here about it

some fantastic deals from Erics Angling aswell (60inch JRC profile and a bag full of bits for roughly £70, should of been well over a £120 quids worth of stuff) and as for the raffle.. well i didnt win but Callum walked away with a few..

overall.. cant wait for next years event!

Special Northern Monkey thanks to the organisers for putting on an amazing show and if you didnt go this year.. make sure the date is in your diary fro next year

Cheers Mr Clossick and friends

Unfortunatly i didn't get there till 7pm but what i saw of dave moores show was interesting and franks talk was interesting too esspecially his ideas regarding the american way of fishing for carp and the alternative baits thay use .
Well done to Roger and Jamie for organising it i'm sure the charities that benefit from the night will be very happy .

A cracking night out, my head is reminding me of that........As already said, Jamie's talk was awsome, he certainly did make Colemere look easy. Dave Moore is a very well respected angler who can consistantly catch carp from any lake you put him on.
Loads of lads there who i hadnt seen for a while, so it was good to catch up. Had a good chat with Ritchie Latham and Ginge about Tatton, respect has to go to you two for your results, especially with all the odds stacked against you.
It does seem to be the way though that i dont tend to move far from the bar area at these sort of events.
Stand up and take a bow Jamie and Roger, another faultless show with all the money going to very worthy causes.
