As ever ALL the profit is going to Charidee with Roger and I never having taken even our personal expenses for the previous shows. (yes I even paid for my own hotel rooms on the night!)

Will St Johns Ambulance be there to resucitate the hoards-I can see this turning into a proper fiasco due to too much demand and lot of ******£d off people not being allowed in for 'health and safety' reasons

Great event and well done to those involved for putting it together but tickets would have been much more 'proper',ball ache or not!

Its a right royal stagger from the Dog n Duck just to get to the door and be turned away, the chauffer's due to have the snip in 2 weeks so won't be able to drive me there and taxi's simply won't entertain my fuelled back seat driving any more,I knew that night out with George Best would come back and bite me on the **** one day.

Tell you what Steve, come fetch me from the Duck and I'll regail you on the way with many a tale of behind stage camerarderie involving three voluptuous women, seven bottles of Bolinger and two pairs of marigolds filled with fairy liquid....

I wonder if anyone can top this delightful little anecdote from the last time I was there for a carp-do. As we left for the evening with EVERYONE much worse for wear we stood waiting on the step of the hotel foyer. A young lad staggers out pulls down his trolleys and proceeds to dump on the floor in full view.
There were of course numerous toilets in the hotel within feet of where he crouched.

I very much doubt if anybody will be turned away. The venue has an official capacity of 500 and i'm pretty sure that if you arrive before 6pm there will be no danger.
We will not turn anybody away ourselves unless the hotel indicate that there are too many people and how would they tell if we are doing the counting?
On the brightside, if we get anywhere near the capacity then we have raised a lot of money for good causes so please don't be defeatist and turn up with your support.....

I personally guesstimate about 400 happy carpers so there will be no problems whatsoever!!!

See you all on the 20th...........

Jamie
