There were THREE bars open last time it could get very messy

Saul,
Did you say THREE bars? My God I feel like i've been sexually exploited several times-I was propping what I thought was THE bar up until it ran dry last time, only heard bits of Laneys slide show commentry when someone came out through the doors for a wazz.Could someone please send me a floor plan layout of said bars and also toilets, the boys on the trade stand were most displeased when i took full use of a fishrite camo bucket at the edge of their table...

On a seious note I think although tickets are no doubt a pain to print/disperse etc it would make the whole affair more professional and prevent possible carpy argy bargy at the door as well as health n safety issues having to be adhered to.The cost of printing the tickets could be included in the price,if anybody had a grumble with this I don't think they'd be deemed worthy of attending anyway...

Why not have them available from the various tackle shops around the NW which not only reaches the right people but also benefits the shop owners who would then be more likely to chuck in a bit of a raffle prize as a cheers for bringing punters through the door in these quiet cold weeks...

Looks like this will be a busy night, ive never been before but will be attending with 5 or 6 others.
Ive no probs with the price rise, id happily pay double that as long as the fair share gets to the very worthy causes.

Looking forward to it.

Default Update

We now have ERICS ANGLING doing the tackle stand so you can get the real bargains you would have missed at the "other" show

Just to confirm ALL profits going to -
Charitys are: Pendlebury Childrens Hospital, Francis House Childrens Hospice and the IDN research trust (MS)

A very worthy cause I'm sure you will all agree

Cheers
Saul

Default Itinery

Hi Lads and lasses,
We are now in a position to give an itinery for the night. There will be other stuff to add but as it stands this is the story so far:

Open 2pm til 10pm Sunday 20th January at the Cresta Court Hotel, Altrincham
Entrance is £7 on the door

Speakers:

Jamie Clossick 4pm

Mark Holmes 5.30pm

Dave Moore 6.45pm

Frank Warwick 8pm (2 spots)

There will be two stands where you can ask advice from proven Carp Catchers under the titles of 'Kipper Corner' (big fish advice) and 'The Bait and Rig Clinic' (self explanatory)

People in attendence for these include:

Jon Mcallister
Darrell Peck
Iain Macmillan
Gaz Fareham
Ali Hamidi
Mark Watson
Alex Perrin
Pete Broughton and more...

The North West Cup and Echo Cup will be presented to this years winners on the night.

Confirmed Trade Stands Include:

Erics Angling Centre
Korda
BCSG
Venture Tackle, Angling International Holidays
Tag Carp Tours
Advanced Carp Fishing
Ultimate Carp Nutrition

Mega Raffle will be truly mega once again and prizes already include;
2 French Fishing Holidays
Viper Icon Baitboat
Pair Of Rods
We are leaving it until after Christmas to blag most of the prizes but the raffle will be huge!

The official capacity is just over 500 across 2 rooms and we are are hoping for a turnover of people during the day as we don't expect anyone to stay for 8 hours but be warned, THIS WILL SELL OUT!

There is space available for a couple more trade stands and if there is anybody out there who can help in way, be it by providing raffle prizes or a trade stand then please get in touch.

As ever ALL the profit is going to Charidee with Roger and I never having taken even our personal expenses for the previous shows. (yes I even paid for my own hotel rooms on the night!)
This is because the charities are near to our own hearts personally and this year the money is being split between Pendlebury Childrens Hospital, Francis House Hospice and the LDN Research Trust (MS)
Virtual everybody involved is giving up their time and efforts for free so please support us in anyway you can.

It's looking like being bigger than ever this year and in the organising of it both Terry hearn and Gary Bayes have already confirmed for next year so it looks like we will have to do another!!

Look forward to seeing you all on the day.

Jamie
