Back by popular demand is the northern monkeys unofficial night out 2009! after the success of 2008's event i have booked the crewe vagrants cricket club for saturday 31st of january. Tickets are £5 on the door and doors open at 7pm with kick out time being 1am so plenty of time for drunken debauchery. 2008's event was a fantastic night with many faces put to names, new friends made and secrets told all in the name of charity. 2009's chosen charity is frances house childrens hospice which has been nominated by stig and is more than a worthy cause for us to donate the profits of the night to. We raised £250 for cancer research in 2008 and this was a great achievement for all those involved. On the night a raffle is held which helps us boost to cash total and this is where i need your help people.Being a poor gas man struggling with the credit crunch i need as many prizes as possible donated on the night for the raffle. this makes a massive difference to the profits of the night and all the people who contributed last year basically helped make the night what it was and without there kindness we would never have raised the amount we did so all help is gratefully accepted.

The night will run the same as 2008's with it being informal and hedonistic. raffle tickets will be sold up until 9pm-ish which is when i will use my charm and present the raffle with my abled body assistants and then afterwards back to drinking, dancing and singing for those who dare

My right hand man big dave will be in charge of taking the cash with his helpers whilst i drink magners and socialise getting more drunk before doing my hosting which will possibly be interesting if anyone knows me personally as i'm likely to do anything daft for japes (the clue is in the title) Dave did a stirling job last time and without him and my mate oll, who also helped out, i would have been all over the place. cheers fellas.

Okay, so now you know the details, "where do i sign up for this night of madness?" i hear you ask. well the lovely bet has set up a thread incorporating a guest list which you can add your name to by posting a reply to and she will put you on the list. i shall add a link below for your ease peeps.

If anyone has any queries or would like to donate prizes. please post on this thread and we'll sort things out. It is a truly mint night and with the profits going to charity shows that all us hairy arsed anglers (sorry bet) have got a caring side. please, i really do need your help with the raffle prizes so do what you can people to make this night like no other
