Default shimano baitrunners 3500

these are my old baitrunners,the first 1s that came out.anybody know how much they are worth?bought in around 1986.

Connor's right - going rate is whatever people will pay on ebay. Best way to check what past items have actually sold for is to use the 'advanced search' button, whack in your item name - and then tick the COMPLETED LISTINGS ONLY box.

This then shows all items that have ended, those in red did not sell, those in green show you what it actually went for.

I use this loads for gauging a value.

Either way, very nice reels mate!

i owned a set of these netbuster but mine were the 3500 plus had a different style drag on the front also had a 4500 plus bought mine in 86 as well

possibly not sure now,but they had plastic spools not metal.they used to do two different models if i remember right the standard 3500 then the 3500 plus the only difference was the clutch system the clutch on the plus could be preset so then say a quarter of a turn would lock it solid.see if you can get a picture of one on the net and you`ll see what i mean

yeah but mine looked totally different front on when looking at the front of the spool with the fast drag set up,not sure whether this was the first reel that had this facility.that just a standard 3500 sea spin not the plus version.think there pretty rare should of kept them sold the last one a few years ago with the original box to a mate for a tenner
