Exclamation original aqua products bedchair

believe this or not, i've just been to a party at the girlfriends sister's and brother in laws and whilst discussing fishing he said that he had his bedchair in the garage and would i like to sit on it (lack of spare garden seats) i picked it up and started taking the mickey out of him thinkng it was an old 70's ratchet chair until i unfolded it and saw the original aqua products logo and realised it was an original chris mankini bedchair. has anyone got any idea what these are worth? i can't imagine there's many left knocking about as bedchairs normally get knackered after a few years and i know that some of the original aqua stuff is now collectors items (e.g. aqua domes) so if anyones interested pm me or post up i'll stick some pics up in a bit

Was it not just the Aqua matress that was available which was about fifty quid? Back in the day it was deemed luxury, nowadays I doubt the dog would get some zzz's on it for more than an hour.

Im sure there was a later version of this too where the padding covered the frame. My mate had one on his old fox bed chair.

Its all coming back now from the mists of time, they did two versions which were a vast improvement on the utter poo Fox canvas offerings, which shockingly sold for more than todays equivalent of a Nash Indulgance Oh the memories...KJB fall over pods for £80,Super XL leak n beeps for er,£80, Hutchy apethy-apolyp-apepleptyc-adipose-adolph-apple crumble-apostle-apotheosis (got there in the end) thread pole bivvy domes for £200,Nutrabaits recipes that required a bank loan,Big Game at fifteen quid a spool, makes my bum itch just thinking of the 'good old days'...

Its never been so easy, cheap or convenient...

Not much on there that I didn't have, and the Nutrabaits shelf in the tackle shop got me every visit.
So many additives, so little time

I bought the matress myself way back then and swopped my blue sunlounger matress for the ever so carpy green aqua one. Pretty sure they never did an actual bedchair.
