lure fishing
looking for somewhere round the nw on day tkt were you can travel light and throw a few lures about for a few hrs
tried a few canal stretches & caught a few shopping trollies ect but would like a lake to go at if poss any ideas? i am around the wigan area & don't want to go a million miles away, cheers

Afraid I've not fished much in the Wigan area - the closest I've got is Pennington Flash, which has a fair few pike in if you fancy a spot of lure chucking.
