cheers chaps.. it certainly brought back a few memories of river fishing as a kid.. stick float fishing for chub on the avon etc... still looking for the elusive 3lb chub.. maybe i will get it on the next trip

will be looking to try up stream next... see what that holds for me

on the float matey.. i did try the feeder for about an hour but nothing came from this... so i stuck to trotting and long trotting in some cases... and i still cant find my centrepin AAARRRGGGHHH !!

5 chub yesterday, two of them 4lb'ers

Was a bit of a grueller, very windy and cold, had 2 around 1 o'clock then nothing, tried a few swims for the last hour and picked up 3 very good fish one after the other link ledgering bread

havent been grayling fishing before,i missing out well done that man..you cant beat float fishing once in a while

nice one Kev, i went last friday upstream to the scropton stretch.. it was blowing an absolute gale.. rubbish for bite registration on feeder... nailed a small grayling within half hour of castin out lol.. then nothing all day.. used so many diff baits but as i say i wouldnt of known if i had a bite due to the wind blowin the rod about

as for graylin fishing Mr Bear... its good fun and they do fight very well in fast water.. chubber float.. 18hook.. red maggot a good days fishing
