River Goyt
Any of you Monkeys fishing this place ?
It's done an 11lb 4 barbel last week and is on the up Nice to see a local River coming good after years of pollution

That's a massive barbel mate...I never knew the Goyt held fish anywhere near that size.
Do you want to tell us which stretch produced this big 'un?

The Mersey is the same we were catching fish in it as far back as 1985 but i am told that there are some hefty Chub and barbel below the outflow of the effluent treatment works at Cheadle (cheshire not staffs) fishing from either bank between Heaton mersey and the A34 Kingsway Please note that some of the Cheshire side of the river is private fishing Cheadle anglers i believe
