Anybody been doing any Piking this winter??

Had a few sessions out and about at the back end of last year, and so far only had one Pike this year at 13lb 12oz.

How have you been doing?

only rele fished capsthorne main and astbury mere had a few out but was very slow and had pike to 12 lb which is my pb pike so pretty pleased

Yeh been fishing the river severn for pike at school. Had a 20lber

I did a bit of piking over the winter, the first year i've tried it, mainly down on the old river in Irlam but also on the bridgewater canal and one of the fens in Boston where my wifes family live

had a few out, but all jacks nothing into double figures yet, best i had was around 8lb an it didn't half give a good account of itself, really looking forward to being connected to a mid double
