Was brought up recently, they are still finalising everything with the sailing club, so that one is basically "on hold" for the time being.

Not sure. But although they can be a pain, they can also be a good ally to the society if anything ever hapened.

They may have been there for years but in my short experiance of Astbury they hate Anglers, the boat driver is a clown, and they dont want us on there.
Dont get me started on the dog walkers.

Yep, they are a pain, granted. But the point I'm getting at is that the dog walkers used to see the place as their own, when the signs for SOTAS went up, they were ripped down, and they didn't like the fact that we OWN the lake. My point is that if anything ever happens, then there should be support from the sailing club, and not just SOTAS vs. Joe Public.

The boats dont have respect for us
The windsurfers and canoeists dont have respect for us
The dog walkers (emptiers) have no respect for us
The only people who care about us on there are ourselves (oh and trhe curry house)

But seriously do you think the boatclub would do anything to back us up ? I think not...............

Ive had so many arguments with the little boy (he aint no man) who rides round in his little boat causing a wash everywhere he goes............... he doesnt give a toss about us, when i have complained the p***k drives the rescue boat into your swim so he can hear what your shouting at him !..............still the boat might make a nice feature to fish to when i sink the little f****r with a 6oz lead

SACK THE BOATYARD OFF
AND GET BACK THE BEST SWIMS ON THE LAKE
