two weeks without any...

bank time and enough was enough, so last night dusted off the old spinning rod, threaded it up and took it out when I took the dog for a walk. Got a few quizzical looks from the missus as I left the house, but I think she's resigned herself to the fact that anglers are a few sandwiches short of a picnic anyway.

Only made may be a dozen casts, but after a c**p day at work, came home in a better frame of mind.

Weekends coming, with a bit of luck the weather'll hold and I can get on the River.

Just dusting off the pike gear myself now, got a scotland trip planned in the next couple of weeks. cant wait to get back into em.

Still a bit early??? or not??? Don't really do much for them as a rule, but the way I've been feeling, I would have cast out into the back garden...
