Default river dove

had my 2nd trip of the season last night , took my lad with me for a change , glad i did now , he smashed his barbel pb by nearly 3lb with his first bite on the river taken on a mixture of daluco baits pellets




needless to say i blanked

Nice one Stu, around 9lb-ish ?

Seem to be a good average size throughout the Dove, don't hear of many below 6lb though not sure whether that's a good or bad thing.

Not jealous Deano but have to admit wouldn't mind sliding the net under it myself, cracking fish

Am crap at guessing weights at the best of times but think barbel are a bit tricky, looks very long though

it was actually very well proportioned kev , as you can see from the pic ,

i think come winter , that fish could go a very good 13 , as at the moment it doesnt really have a belly but as you say has the length

I know, I know... can't justify it at the moment mate, supposed to be moving house next month.

yeah was using the A force for a bit, had a few results also got the 22mm halibut pellets from him, nice guy and like i say well priced.
