Default the dam buster!

After an uneventful early morning session for the bream on the church side of lymm dam last sunday, i decided to have another go last night (weds).
i opted for the first peg on the right (opposite the church), and fished from 4.30 pm till dark.
I used 2 tip rods, one on a small method with fake corn hair rigged to a size 16 hook, the other was a small cage feeder with 3lb bottom and 12 hook, fishing caster and broken worm.
Both rods were positioned near the dam wall and attracted bites from the off!,
i had no less than 10 bream on the method averageing 4lb and 4 nice chunky roach and a bream on the cage.
Well happy with the results, got the bug for bream bashing again!!

Nnice one - sounds like a fun session. I'm off for a change of scenery on Sunday and hope to do a spot of bream bashing - hope my session is as good as yours.

Mike.

i must admit its a nice break from carping having a go for other species .
i fished a week on weston park recently and to break the long wait up my m8 rigged a float rod up and we took it in turns using it , we caught countless small carp and rudd and thoroughly enjoyed it !
