Default Good day on the river

Fished the Dove this morning from 7.30am until about 6.30pm, nothing for a couple of hours then steady barbel action until about 4pm.

Finished up with 9 barbel, 3 between 9 - 9 1/2lb and the rest 7 - 8 1/2lb.

Nice way to spend the day, shorts and t-shirt, no-one else in sight and some fantastic fishing

Still no camera, off on hol next week and can't get away with a new digi for fishing just yet.

Got a silly amount of nettle stings though, swim I was in hadn't been fished and was fishing over them. Had to take the boots off and fish barefoot to get in and net them, legs and arms are covered

Great result, what is it that they say about 'mad dogs and englishmen?'

Obviously worth it though. Nettle stings and all.

Well done, once again.
